A Note About Enrollment

Educational Harbor is a small, mission-driven Christian school. Because of our size and personalized approach, we carefully consider each application to ensure that our school is a strong fit for both the student and the community.

Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and academically focused environment where every student can thrive. To do that well, we evaluate each student’s needs in relation to our instructional model, classroom expectations, and available resources.

While we would love to serve every family, there are times when a student’s needs may fall outside of what we are currently able to support in a general education setting.

When Educational Harbor May Not Be the Best Fit (At This Time)

To help set clear expectations, the following situations may impact enrollment decisions:

• Students who are significantly behind academically (more than approximately 6 months below their age-based grade level)

• Students with a pattern of frequent absences or difficulty attending school consistently

• Students who have experienced multiple recent school changes, where stability may be a concern

• Students who struggle to follow classroom expectations or participate appropriately in a group learning environment

• Students who are not able or willing to follow our Biblical standards for behavior, relationships, and community life

• Students with a history of serious or repeated behavioral concerns, including bullying or safety issues

• Students who are unable to meet attendance and punctuality expectations, which are essential for success in our program

• Students without reliable daily transportation (as we do not offer transportation services)

• Students who require specialized medical, emotional, or therapeutic support beyond what we can reasonably provide
