Small Class Sizes

Our students have frequent and consistent access to their teachers due to small class sizes.

Any teacher can tell you that the smaller a class is, the more he or she can focus on each individual student. From more consistent parent contacts to more minutes spent per student, small class sizes help teachers to hone in on each student's needs and be able to serve them more efficiently. There is surprisingly little research on the effects of class size on students' immediate academics and long-term effects, but as Educational Harbor tends to have around 50% of our population as neurodiverse, small classes help us to better serve each student's individual needs. Our younger students have a maximum student to teacher ratio of 8:1, while our middle grade students have a maximum of 12:1 and our oldest students have a maximum ratio of 14:1.
