We also have a "critical thinking and study time" on Fridays which allows students to work at their own pace and receive help from an adult or tutor if they need it. Students can also finish projects or tests, or catch up on missing work if they need. This allows students to not feel rushed in class, and it allows those who finish early to not wait as long for students who take longer. Students who are completed with all of their tasks can work on creative projects, practice additional skills, or read.
